It has been several months since he posted the math.  But this is what I am getting from what he posted.  2 X 50 = 100 means the amp has 2 50 amp fuses for a total of 100 amps current capacity.  100 X 14.4 is the ampunt of wattage input to the amp.  1,440 watts input multiplied by the efficiency rating of a class A/B amplifier, which is around 50 percent efficient.  1,440  X (.)5 = 720

14.4  is the charging voltage of your vehicle if we ived in a perfect world.

Ohms law-    voltage x amperage = wattage (I x E = P)
That efficiency is a killer!   Class D baby! YAAA! 80% club!

I'm planning an overhaul of the alternator to put out 180 amps so I'd max out this amp.
