Installed Kenwood DNX9140 into 2008 Ford F-250.

Accessories installed: Sirus addon, and Backup cam.

Problem: Rearview camera does not display when plugged into the rearview camera input

The camera displays when pluged into other video in. I checked all wiring and all is correct.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section and thanks for any help.

Did you connect the reverse wire to the deck?

I set the interupt to on for AV but it doesn't specifically say rear view cam anywhere. I have it just ran to a video in right now and when I put it in reverse it switches to the cam but it doesn't switch away after I put it back into drive it just turns the cam off (which is what should happen)but I hoped it would switch back automatic to the previous screen

Got into the "A/V interface" part of the setup menu and there you'll have 3 pages to select different options for what you're connecting to the deck.  The R-Cam interruption will be on the second page...set it to on and connect the camera into the r-cam input behind your deck.  To change to the second or third page you'll see an arrow next to the number "1", scroll right and you'll get the page you need.  You should be all set after that.
