I recently installed a compustar remote start with Key-override-all bypass on a 2005 Matrix, and am having problems with the bypass unit. Specifically, the unit programs, but fails to bypass the transponder (inserting a key into the ignition allows the car to remote start). The connector diagram in the Fortin manual shows only one empty pin (#3), but my 7-pin connector only has 3 wires (and 4 empty slots)! Does anyone know the correct colors of the car's wires for the Rx and Tx connections? I am unable to determine which wires are the #4 and #5 wires, given that no indication is provided for the #1 pin.
Thank you.
