I just bought a BMW with an alarm installed. On the brain all it says is TELECOM? I searched and really found nothing. The FCC ID CODE on the remote fob says LQLKNJ2NR when i looked it up came back to K & J Trading Inc 5970 Santa Fe Ave. Huntington Park CA 90255. But i think thats just for the remote. The remote has what looks like a GB logo or CB logo stamped on it. Any help will be great thanks. Here are some pics of the brain and a pin layout connection.

Never seen anything like that before.
Some guesses on the pinout:
UK      Unlock
LK      Lock
HRN     Horn
DOM     Domelight input (door trigger)
IG      Ignition input
CH3     Channel 3 output (trunk release?)
PT      Power Trunk? no idea
SRN     Siren
GRND    Ground
12V     Constant power input
ST      Start?
Those are all just guesses, but you could take that as a starting point and test each wire to see what it really does.
Are you just curious to learn what you have, or is something wrong that you're trying to fix?

do you have a pic of the remote? sometimes the remote is more helpful at identifying a system than the brain.

sorry for the long delay in an answer if you are still wondering the alarm is a Bicron system. They are very very generic if you have any more questions about that system let me know, plus I have two spare remotes for it as well, and if you want them all you have to pay is shipping, because the brain that went to them got roasted when my installer wired it wrong =o)

Violent thanks for the reply. And yes any info you can tell me about this alarm system would be great especially functions. I am looking how to turn off the chirps when you turn on and off the alarm. Does this have passive arming? And as for the remotes yes i would like them if they match the four button one pictured. Let me know shipping cost to 91731 El Monte,Ca. And i will send it out to you. Again thanks.
