Splat, the ones that usually worry about cargo space, are blessed with single sub prefab boxes you can order online. 4 subs done properly dedicate the vehicle to a certain degree. There are trick ways to keep space with 4 subs, but take no shorts. 4 12's not optimized isnt worth it. Decide the amount of space you can afford to give up and then buy the # of subs that best fit that space.

Bad pic, but here is a Yukon we did with the raised floor and 4-12's. 1000 watt and 2-200w and a 12 farad electronic cap and a Phoenix Gold line driver under the seat. The raised floor had a tunnel system that we had the fans blowing through it, like a maze. Two fans in, two out for proper cooling. The subs we wired 2ohm stereo, push and pull... 4 sub sonotube/box - Page 2 -- posted image.

Forget about using the 4 subs for a minute.....DD Audio makes awesome products. Get 2 of their 8's....yup....that's right i said 8's! They are stupid loud and still reserves your storage room...just a thought. OR even only 1 of their 10's or 12's in the right enclosure would be totally ridiculus....less woofers, less box, less power, less problems, more room...still loud as hell! hope this helps ~db~
