I have an Infinity amp in My avenger. I am using two other amps in-line with the rear speaker outputs of that Infinity amp. I took the speaker leads off the speakers, then split-ran them two seperate amps. One for the Deck speakers (200Watt amp), and one amp for the Dual 12" subs in a 4th order bandpass enclosure. I had no problems hooking up this way. I did use the HIGH LEVEL inputs in the Amps though.
