yeah it does well that nor my amp crossover are filtering good enoughfor me, so i got an active xover it sounds much better with an active cleaner sound

the the  front channel are for my Tweeters and the rear is for my Midranges it make ever speaker play the specified frequency it separates everything so overall system will play more efficiently and cleaner

that clarion eq is ok. just ok. it does what it does reasonably well and it looks ok too even though it is a platformed carbon copy of a few other eq's that are out there. its just a generic eq that clarion decided to put its name on.

if all you want it to make your bass louder then just get an active crossover with a line driver in it.

if you have no clue as to how to set an eq or what it really is used for that you have a good shot that you will make your system sound worse because 90% of the time when someone gets an eq, they just hook it up and turn every knob to near max level and this doesn't make your system sound better it only kills speakers.

Again, the only thing I can suggest is go visit your local car audio shop because you obviously have something wrong and we can't help you here.
