Ok, So right now, I have the Peripheral GMAH32 adapter installed, but the modules do not let the radio sit all the way back in the dash. I originally bought this $169 adapter to be able to keep my Bose system with my after market head unit. Ive replaced all of my factory speakers with aftermarkets and an amp. Now I want to take the adapter out and just use a regular harness just to get me power to the radio and that way the radio can sit flush with the dash. I cant find the regular harness and I cant find any wire in the vehicle harness thats an ignition hot.. So, how can I do it? I was just gonna tap into the switched 12 volt wire, but I cant find one, I checked them all with my meter.
i am an idiot

You will need to run a wire to the fuse box.  You should be able to find a fuse that is hot with the key on and dead with the key off.

And make sure you use the dead side of the fuse...Meaning once you pull the fuse out ...One tab will have 12v...the other wont...Attach it to the side w/ no voltage...! Also...You can extend the wires...and leave the unit under the dash...I just did a 00 deville...And fished the wires up from under the dash for the harness...It was just long enough to plug in the rca's!
