A 2 Ohm stereo load is identical to a 4 Ohm mono load.  The fuse needs to be mounted as near the battery as possible.  There it will protect the amp and the wire going to the amp.  Fuse in the rear of the car, as stated earlier, possible heating element for your car.  Tell your buddy to get a new installer.

Awws, come on guys give the installer a break, at least he got the size of the fuses at the distro block correct! LOL,lanzar amplifiers - Page 2 -- posted image., i have this tingling feeling he didn't know how though! Guy sounds like he needs to be introduced to ohm's law!

Yeah, that was the first thing I told him.  And the second was that I had only heard bad things about the company he was/is dealing with.  Thanks everyone for your input and information.  I didnt think I was that stupid.... :D
