2005 chevy cobalt clutch bypass

2005 Cobalt

GM wiring diagram shows a two wire Clutch Start Switch @ pedal asy. Pink wire @Pin A and Yellow wire @Pin B.

Should be able to use these wires w/Clutch Bypass diagram and a relay.

I haven't done one personally,but looks like it should work. Make sure to test wires to make sure they are correct,Pink is 12V in run/crank.

DO NOT use Pink/Black and Brown /White two wire connector @ pedal asy., this is for Clutch Pedal Position sensor.

Did you press the cluch when trying to R/S since the clutch isn't bypassed yet?

What brand and model R/S and bypass module are you using?

Use Positive Clutch Bypass diagram for velocity motorsports.  You can use a relay if you want, but probably don't have to on this car.  Should be able to use the start wire from the R/S box to power the clutch switch during start up.

Yes I did press the clutch when trying to remote start.

I'm using Autopage RS603 and PLJX (directed electrotincs).  Installed bypass programed fine.... is this the right bypass to use?

When I tryed to remote start i had the key in the ignition and clutch pressed, the starter dont even click.  Is there 2 Accessory wires or 1? 2 Ignition wires or 1?

I used yellow wire on the stearing colum for IGN1, and brown ACC1 (tryed both locations stearing and bcm) no luck.... Please help.... Am I using the wrong wires?  What am I missing here?

You shouldn't have the key in the ignition when R/S.  The yellow and brown look right for the car wiring.  You should make sure the R/S is holding 12v on IGN 1 wire the whole time the R/S is active when start button is pressed, also ACC 1 needs to come on when start button is pressed then drop out when cranking.  You can check it w/meter to make sure while R/S.

Did you check for the YELL IGN 1 and BRN ACC1 w/meter before you connected the R/S to the car just to make sure you had the right wires?

YELL should be 12v in run and crank, BRN 12v in acc and run then 0v in start.
