battery post problem optima red top

hey guys i bought an optima red top not realizing that my battery terminals are reversed...(2004 ford taurus) does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? the wires are too short to go across to the other side of the battery. also my power wire goes directly into my fuse/relay box under the hood. im lost on what to do please help!

get new 4 guage wire or equvalent to what you have now, get new battery terminals from your local automotive store.  and replace your power and ground wires ,and route them to where you need them to go.

yeah the ground wire will be easy. its the poweer wire going from the battery to the fuse box that im lost on. i dont know how its secured in the fuse box (underneath) and i dont know how 4 or 1/0 gauge will fit. thanks for the help. any other ideas?
