On the 2007 Ford Fusion, in the remote starter installation wiring diagrams, it states Tach is N/A. If so, how can the remote starter work without a Tach signal? This is the first car I've seen with no tach requirement. Can somebody give me some advice.

Sensor oil black / orange under the hood of the filter. Or the wire on the injectors.

the way the new fords start a tachless setting is sufficient, set crank time for max duration (car has smart start feature so it will not overgrind, bcm will shut down crank signal when cars running on its own)i deal with a couple ford dealers that do their own installs and they never have hooked up tach onnew fords and have no problems
