Hi

This is my first post, nice community.

Someone try to steal my car but looks like they couldn’t start it, now I can’t start it either.

They brook some stuff under the steering wheel and open the hood but I’m not sure what they did there.

When I put the key in ignition the lights and everything turn on but the car doesn’t start, I’m thinking it’s the starter disable feature that’s kicking in.

I have a 2000 Honda Civic 4 door with an old Alpine alarm system (not sure what model)

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks

It could also be a starter blown fuse. I would check that first, then the starter disable.
