I have access to technical help at directed, I'll call them on monday and see what they have to say....Question, you wired your passlock as version 2...right?  So you measured your resistance with the motor running, voltage divided by current....E/I=R.

I know is passlock 2, what I did was I measured the resistance with the key in the On position and while running, and everytime I got 2.1K and that is the fixed resistor I am using and no security light.  The van starts up and stays running, everything is working.

Once the resistor was wired in I did the key relearn procedure and the car learned the value of the resistor.  I cut the yellow wire and wired the resistor to the car side (not key side) yellow wire and the ORANGE / black wire.  Once the resistor was wired in i put the key and put it to the on position and after 10 min the security light turned off, did that three times and now it learned the resistance.

Ok so the problem has gone away, after wiring in the accessory 2, its been now 2 days and no more Service Engine light.  I still have not wired in the Tach wire but it seems to start everytime.  Where is the Tach wire location and color?
