If you really feel that the over cranking is really too much, you can plug  the tach wire and make you remote starter learn it...you will solve the problem.  Just remember that when it's very cold, that extra kick can be very helpful for proper starting but in the other hand, in the cold weathers, if your truck overcranks, you should get that tach wire hooked up.  It was my pleasure working with you....

Thanks again for the help. I screwed up though... I re installed all the paneling, mount the unit nicely, and after doing so I realized that I didnt test the heater.... sure enough it doesnt turn on whn i remote start the truck, and yes I have the heaters turned on if you're wondering :) I must have taped into the wrong accessory wire even though the meter readings were correct. Oh well live and learn
