Hi, i am about to install a fortin can-sl2 into a 2007 nissan maxima with intelli key. But i have a quick question. In the diagram for the intelli key wiring which i posted in this topic, it says make 3 to 4 loops around the ingition barrel. Which wires go around the ignition barrel? Any input on this situation is appreciated thank you.

theres the pdf file for the intelli key wiring so you can see what im talking about.

I've done a bunch of those cars and I've never wrapped loops of wire around anything.
Never heard of that site either.
It's possible you're looking at a page of the CAN-SL2's install guide that's supposed to be for a different kind of car. That module covers many different kinds of cars and each has its own type of installation.
Go directly to www.ifar.ca and you can either search by the name of the product, or just click on Vehicles (easier) and put in your car.....when you find the CAN-SL2 there should be a place to click for the install guide.
Each car has an "install type." Be sure that you're looking at the correct type for your car.

Chris is right, the Nissan uses CANBUS to do immobilizer bypass not the ring wraps. You are looking at the Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep installation diagram.

Also one last question, in that diagram, it looks as if i have to connect to both key sense wires RED / blue + RED / white and diode isolate. My question is which wire off the alarm/remote start would i connect those to ? I looked through the whole manual and none of them are a key sense wire. It shows the keysense wires going to the ignition? What do i do here ? Everything else is pretty much straight forward.

The LIGHT BLUE/BLACK will need to be extended and wrapped aound the ignition column. Attach the end of the LIGHT BLUE/BLACK extended wire to the BROWN / WHITE wire on the 4 pin WHITE connector on the CANSL2
