Any installers here have experience with an Omega/Excalibur AL2000-E brain that keeps orange ground while armed wire active during remote start and not releasing it after inserting key ?
Issue is as follows.. I wired a starter disable on a 2003 Tundra V6/2wd with the orange wire. After remote start, and inserting key/stepping on brake pedal, the wire won't let go to allow relay to rest and let starter wire close circuit. I was chasing a P0705 transmission Park/Neutral switch error and found out that the start circuit on toyotas double as a voltage sense wire as well and this wire cannot be cut when vehicle is put in drive/reverse. A cut wire fails voltage sense and triggers the ECU code. I also noticed if I turn off the engine after remote start, I cannot restart the vehicle until I hit the disarm button on omega remote (which allows relay to discharge bridging starter circuit to crank)
Is there a way to program the brain to permanently disable the orange wire once disarmed during RS ? is there a setting I'm missing ? All functions work on this alarm except for this little snafu..
Any help/tips appreciated..

The AL-2000-e cannot be programmed to disable the orange wire while the RS is running. There is an option to turn it off completely. It is option feature #4. The programming steps are as follows:
1. Turn ignition on
2. Turn ignition off
3. Within 5 seconds, press & release valet switch 5 times
4. Within 10 seconds, press & release valet switch 4 time for feature #4
5. Within 10 seconds, press & release the unlock button on the remote, siren will chirp twice to confirm programming
6. Turn ignition on than off to end program mode or wait 10 seconds
