I installed Autopage RS900 on 2000 Ford F150, and customer reported false alarm going off like every 40 min and it shows on remote that door trigger has been triggered. So I totally disconnected the door trigger wire, still same problem alarm going off every 40 min. and sowing on the remote door trigger triggered.   So I totally changed the brain (these are brand new systems from AutoPage), still the same problem.  Anybody had this problem before?  I have no idea what’s going on  with this truck.  I installed a bunch of alarms before and never had this problem... Please help

Is this a base model F-150 or does it have power locks, windows, etc? Are you making your door trigger connections at the dome light?

Did you use the BLACK/ blue (+) for door trigger?  we have to remember that some body computers fall into sleep mode...If it's the case, I would use a relay to isolate the modules door input from the vehicule or simply a diode tapping on the door switch side...but you said that you've disconected the door triggers and you have the same problem? right?  Then you might have a problem with the shock sensor...try disconnecting it and see what happens.

I don't think its the shock sensor because it would say on the remote that the shock sensor has been triggered but it shows that door trigger has been triggered and shows an icon on the remote like the door opened...

Then..you must isolate the doors from the body computer and tap your door input wire on the switch side, the computer is sending signals to monitor the truck after it has been resting for a while and the alarm picks it up.  I would try a relay before hand and if it does it again, I would go to each door switch, install a diode on the line and tap my wire on the switch side.

I understand that, but the thing is, the alarm keeps going off even if the trigger wire from the alarm is not connected at all.

ok, do you have any other switches connected...truck cap???? or others????  It doesn't mean that it's the actual doors!!!!
