Actually that was pretty funny. :) Easy fix though. Just unhook the EQ.If that fixes your problem just go ahead and throw it in the trash. problem solved.

Hard for us to know you have done that already. When all you keep saying is when I do this and this with the EQ, it does this. All your symptoms are based off explination of using the EQ. NOWHERE have you said it does this with the EQ disconnected and running off of deck power.

Really...? Seriously...? Disconnect the speakers that you don't want to have sound come out of. Go to the speaker, remove one of the wires from a terminal, either the positive or the negative, and voila!, no more sound from that speaker!
