opinions from the pros

Is that vifa 7" better sounding than those 6.5 you listed?There isnt really any difference in mounting depth between them and total outside area is onle a .5" difference or so,I dont think that installer knew what i was trying to accomplish or didnt care.How di i completely seal the kick panels from the back.Do i just dynamat the metal behind the kick panel and make sure the holes are covered?-A vision without a plan is just a hallucination-

I tried to fab up the 7'' vifa and it just wont fit.My new idea is to put the 7" in my door and take 6.5 and put it in the qforms kick panel but wire it the same. So now my new question is this : If I move the component 6.5 down to the kick panel but leave the tweeter in the door and put the 7" vifa in the door will there be sound issues because I split the component set to far apart?-A vision without a plan is just a hallucination-
