Hello,

I'm halfway thru my install of an alarm and starter setup.  Everything is going good so far but I'm stuck at the Clutch Bypass.  I can get the truck to start but I have to have the pedal pressed for it to work.  I know I need to install a relay but I'm just not sure where/how.  Also I need help with the door locks.  I have found the two wires that I need (pink/violet, ORANGE / violet) but I'm not quite sure what has to be done to get them to work.  The alarm is a XLS Performance 2300 Series.

Alarm wiring for door lock;

YELLOW: Unlock N/O

White: Unlock Common

Orange: Unlock N/C

Yellow/Black: Lock N/O

WHITE/ Black: Lock Common

ORANGE / Black: Lock N/C

cut the ORANGE / purple wire in the truck in half.

connect YELLOW/BLACK from alarm to 12v (fused).

connect the cut ORANGE / purple "switch side" to ORANGE / BLACK.

connect the other side to WHITE/ BLACK.

cut the pink/purple wire in the truck in half.

connect YELLOW from the alarm to 12v (fused).

connect the cut pink/purple "switch side" to YELLOW.

connect the other side to WHITE.

Great thanks. I have a couple more questions before I give it a shot. How do I know which is the switch side? With the wires cut and I move the switch to one side I get power to the wire. Would that be the switch side?
Also I should have noted that the white wire and the WHITE/ black wire have fuses inline on them. Does that matter at all? Or should I use them for the 12v instead of the yellow and yellow/black. And can I assume the power source needs to be constant?
Thank you very much for the help.

the switch side will show 12v when you activate the switch.

you need to get a constant 12v yes(fuse it at the source, i.e. where ever you get it from), you will connect it to the N/O terminals of the onboard relays on your unit, from the info you posted that will be the YELLOW and YELLOW/BLACK wires.

those other fuses dont matter, just leave them.
