I am trying to install a gmdlbp module in my 2003 grand prix. I cannot get the module to program. I run through the programming again and I can not get the led light to go off. It remains on. I try to reprogram again and does the same thing. The remote start starts the vehicle but the security light is on and then stalls out like it should. any ideas for me? Thanks.

Green--------------Grn on rs

Blue----------------Blu on rs

Violet/wht---------not hooked

Violet--------------terminal 2 on diagnostic connector

pink/wht----------not hooked up

pink---------------not hooked up

Orange----------blk-wht from trunk switch in glove compartment

When I hook up the module, i cannot get any led light on until I turn the key on. I can not program the bypass module for vehicle platform 2. Can anyone help?

If I remember correctly, I don't think the GMDLBP is compatible with your car.
You can look in the chart in the install guide and you'll see:

I've always just used a blank aftermarket key in a universal bypass box on those cars, as the locks and trunk are right there under the dash anyway.

The gmdlbp is good on the 03 Grand Am not on the Grand Prix. You'll need to use a different module.

Thanks guys! I finally got a response from DEI and found out that it is not compatible for the vehicle. I went with the Xk module for it. I appreciate the help
