How would you wire up the relay for that? I'll probably try the easy way first and if not successful, try the relay method instead

That or you could use factory alarm rearm wire instead of lock output if it is negative trigger for locks. This will cause the vehicle to lock after remote start is deactivated. Causing the BCM to shutdown output to headlights after 30 seconds.

the diagram shows how to do it correctly. Remove the column shroud and locate the lightswitch plug. Test for a wire that goes to ground when you turn the autolamp feature on. This is the wire you need to cut...
