unfortunately it did not help when i wire both together.
Do you think my remote start is hooked up properly if i cannot start the car after unplugging my starter kill relay?
Thanks.

i read that the hoodpin is the first reason the remote start ain't working. I did not use the factory hoodpin, i used a mercury switch with the hoodpin harnessprovided for the hoodpin. it works great.
But my hoodpin harness have 2 outputs, one to negative shut down, and Instant trigger.
But all i did was use this harness and hook up one wire to the instant trigger. I have one wire from the mercury switch to ground too and it works great.
It chirps once when i arm. So it shows that all exits are closed. If it chirps 3 times, it means something is open(hood/trunk etc..)
Do i have to hook up the other end of the hoodpin harness?
Or is there a special/different way to learn/program tach?
when you said:(with the purple wire from your ignition wires of the alarm).
Did you mean the purple wire to the accessory from the power harness?
Hope this info helps, Thanks.

Thanks you guys who helped me along step by step, i would not have done it without you.
i found my problem, it was because of my orignal hoodpin harness that have 2 ends(to triggers from the brain) but i only used one.
i am soooo happy!   :D
