Okay, I am having no luck with the clutch bypass, perhaps im missing something...
Originally I had the "grounded while running" wire connected, turns out this doesn't work as I had expected it to.
Next I tried a 12v tap from one of the acc. wires of the remote start. Turns out this kept the starter motor running all the time when starting the vehicle. This lead me to believe that it was a "direct feed" type system.
Believing it was direct feed I next tried a jumper from the clutch switch to the purple starter wire from the RS. I figured this would enable the starter motor when the RS wanted to start the truck, no luck.
Any Idea's??? has anyone done a clutch bypass on a 1996-2004 Toyota Tacoma and want to share the secret with me?
Thanks,
Patrick

OK well what wires do you have at the clutch switch? What do they read when pushed in?

I managed to get the clutch bypass issue sorted, I wired up a relay to close the switch when the remote start was activated, works great!
I started taping up my bundles and put the unit up into the dash and now my power unlock doesn't work... I've checked my connections and everything seems good, I dont know what to do now...
Blue from alarm (+) Lock (-) Unlock --- Connected to Red w/ Yellow Stripe @ Fuse box
Green from alarm (-) Lock (+) Unlock --- Connected to Back w/ Blue stripe @ fuse box
These were the connections the original alarm used and were working fine until just now.
