I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan and had a "Command Start 290i" installed when new and worked fine since new. As of lately i have found it running when we did not start it? i went through the programing for cold weather starting and made sure a few times it was disengaged and it signaled as such but this didn't help. Has anyone else had the same problems? If not repairable then what type of unit would be a simple direct replacement? This is a basic unit unlock doors, remote start.
Thank you

Check under the hood to see where the low temp sensor is mounted.  Usually on a rad hose somewhere. It should look like a a piece of rubber

.25 by .25 and about 1.5 inches long and either have 2 blue wires or 2 yellow wires coming out of it.  It has bimetal strips in it that when it gets cold

enough it will bend and make contact and start the vehicle. They go bad all the time.  I used to sell Command Starts and replaced them all the time.
