I had a tough time finding information on how to program an additional remote for my ca-500. CodeAlarm Customer service was great:
turn ignition on
push button 3 times
hit lock on remote (should hear click)
hit button one more time
hit unlock on remote (should hear click/s)
hit button one more time
hit trunk button (should hear click)
hit button one more time
hit start button (should hear click)
turn off key
Button is wired to blue two pronged connector (the shop that installed ours kept the button, so i used two wires with leads that fit the pins
hope that helps someone!
