So i installed a Python 872 into my 08 Silverado last november using the the 1701G(pretty sure on that i know it was a directed part) The unit has been working fine until Monday morning when i remote started it. When i did so, the truck shut off immediately and the alarm went off. Disarmed the truck tried again same thing. Its done it the past 3 mornings. It says that the door trigger has been tripped. But i haven't heard my alarm go off at night. This only seems to happen at night when the truck has been sitting in the cold for 8 or so hours as i can remote start it after work and it remote starts fine(i usually leave work for lunch also and its fine then too)
1: If the alarm is tripped at night, when i remote start it would it prevent the alarm from going on?
2: My check air pressure light came on Sunday and since this started happening monday i'm assuming that this light may be tripping the data module. Has anyone seen this before?
I plan on filling my tires tonight after work and trying this again tomorrow morning but i dont see why this would be happening all of a sudden.
