I have 2 Image Dynamics IDQv2's they are dual VC 4ohm . Each subwoofer has it's own enclosure with its own speaker connection. the amp is a Fosgate mono amp. I looked at this example https://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=42
Problem is I have two sealed separate enclosures and which results in two separate speaker connection. I would like to wire them at 1 ohm, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thank you

run both positives and both negatives from the enclosure connections to the amplifier.

I currently have the amp running two sets of speaker wires. It has the connectors to run two sets of wire. I have one going to each separate enclosure. Is this fine? How do the subs inside the enclosure need to be connected?
Thanks again.

The pos and negs are connected inside the amp. There is more than one for ease of instillation like in this case of more than one speaker wire being ran to the amp. So yes that is fine. Each sub should be wired like Option 1
that will yield a 2ohm load per sub, but when both subs are hooked to the amp with each respective pos and neg they will be paralleled again at the amp internally by the amp for a 1ohm load.
