did toyota wire this wrong? 96 tacoma

I just put some front speakers in a 96 Tacoma. The + for the right side says lt green, the factory wiring has this going to the - of the factory speaker. Did they mess up? The driverside polarity was correct 1997-98 Toyota Tacoma Stereo Wiring Constant 12V+     Blue / YELLOW  Switched 12V+     Gray  Ground     Brown  Illumination     Green  Dimmer     n/a  Antenna     Right Front  Front Speakers     6 1/2" Doors Left Front (+)     Pink  Left Front (-)     Purple  Right Front (+)     Light Green  Right Front (-)     Blue  Rear Speakers     6 1/2" Rear Corners Left Rear (+)     Black  Left Rear (-)     Yellow  Right Rear (+)     Red  Right Rear (-)     White  There are 10 types of people in the world, ones that understand binary and ones that dont.

Even if they did, it's not going to break anything. Listen to it, if they SOUND out of phase, reverse the wires on the passenger side speaker. Issue averted! :)It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

\ well i looked at 3 different guides from 3 different sources and they all are the same, so im blaming toyota. After the speaker upgrade the car sounds alot better. Guess they screwed up.There are 10 types of people in the world, ones that understand binary and ones that dont.
