The XCRS is the name dei has put for their module, the lengthened version is stated by Ted above,  this module has inbuilt relays that once used as intended they are capable of powering the accessory,ignition and starter circuits in your vehicle! Effectively starting your car and keeping it running! Effectively Remote Start! viper 5002 vs easycar alarm systems - Page 2 -- posted image.

Well, I found out from my phone calls and searching that I can't get....
1 - XCRS 500M Relay Satellite
2 - 5-Pin Starter Harness
Viper doesn't supply single harness's or pieces like the Easycar that I have. I can get the 2 parts that I need for it for $85 US delivered to my door.
Not sure what I'm going to do about the Viper parts. I'm going post an ad on a local site to see if any one has a useless Viper sitting around that I can get the parts I need.
If anyone else knows how or where to get what I need, pls let me know or I guess going have use the Easycar.
Thanks for all the help

Have you looked on E-Bay for any viper remote starters?

I found a XRCS on Ebay this morn and can get a new 7 pin ribbon with it for free.
I can't seem to find the 5 pin harness though. I have asked the seller of the XRCS if they might have a 5 pin harness as well, just waiting for a reply. I'm hoping he does but if not, a buddy and I are going to see if there is a way that we can make something that will work.
Does anyone know the wire gauge in case we end up making a harness??
Thanks for all the help and ideas

One other question...do I need the RED plug harness, called H2 in the install manual? It controls:
    * H2/1 - Light Blue (-) Second Unlock Output
    * H2/2 - WHITE/ Black (-) Channel 5 Output
    * H2/3 - Violet/Black (-) Channel 4 Output
    * H2/4 - GREEN / WHITE (-) Factory Alarm Rearm
    * H2/5 - Grey/Black (-) Wait-to-Start Input
    * H2/6 - Lt. Grn/Black (-) Factory Alarm Disarm
I don't think the car has a factory alarm, I only noticed the remote entry module in the trunk.
Thanks in advance

Ok, now do I need the 5 pin harness (H3) to start installing the system? If I understand correctly it is for the remote starter but doesn't affect the alarm itself. Is this correct?
I'm hoping to find one but if I can get the rest of the system installed in mean time then that would be great.
Thx
