What are you referring to in the DEI units when you say there is an unlock option? As far as I've been able to determine, there is an option to disarm (menu item 2-7) but not to unlock. Are you confusing this with an unlock option?
Also, he can't disconnect the locks. The XK01 is wired D2D. There is no wiring from the Viper or the XK01 going to any lock or disarm wire.

hey joebubba,

i dont deal much with dei, but the unit i had on hand, i was able to program it to unlock since the cars disarm wire was done via door locks and did not have a disarm wire.

as for OP, trash the d2d and use w2w. That way you can troubleshoot whats wrong.
