07 ram bulldog and pkumux

So, hook up the data input/output lines to the trucks PURPLE / brown, ignition to the trucks pink/white, and the pkumux violet starter straight to the r/s starter input?  Seems straightforward enough.  Do I have to use the key cyclinder loop on the pkumux, or can I use the key cyclinder loop that comes with the RS82B??  Thanks for the help so far.

cdbrandt, just to clarify what I said about the starter wire. IF there is no starter wire at the ignition switch ( which you have not mentioned if there is one or not ), then you attach the starter wire from the remote starter to the VIOLET wire of the PKUMUX module. If there is a starter wire at the ignition switch, then you connect the starter wire of the remote starter to the starter wire at the ignition switch which is usally YELLOW. The VIOLET wire from the PKUMUX will not be used at this point........... according to the instructions. There are no other ignition wires in this truck other than the PINK/WHITE at the ingition switch or at the SKIM module.

Also, did you wrap the induction ring around the inside of the OEM ring or on the outside ? Also, did the chip program properly ? Try unplugging the induction ring from the module and placing the key into the ignition switch and try remote starting it. If this works, then your problem was the chip and not with the MUX or starter. If it still fails to start, then start looking back at the starter wire.
