a8002t amp/ rf 10 inch sub wiring

I have:    Audiobahn A8002T amplifier    One 10 inch Rockford Fosgate P3D410 sub RMS Power Output:     * 200 watts x 2 chan. @ 4 ohms     * 400 watts x 2 chan. @ 2 ohms     * 800 watts x 1 chan. @ 4 ohms Bridged Max Power Output: 1600 watts @ 2 ohms All A8002T Specs Subwoofer: 10 inch DVC 800 Watts max, 400 RMS @4 ohms. All P3D410 Specs So, I have one 10 inch RF and one Audiobahn A8002T amp. I would greatly appreciate some guidance on how to wire this up. I was thinking of wiring the DVC in parallel @2 ohms on one channel since the amp will probably not be stable @2 ohms bridged and the power would probably kill my sub. How would you guys suggest to wire this up? Thanks in advance.

Your linking to off site sales/forbidden links thats why the links for the amp are not working. one channel at 2ohm is going to give you the same power as 8ohm bridged. Wire it at 8ohm bridged. You will have full input/output signal that way.

Thank you for your input. 8 ohms won't be too much resistance for my amp? or does it just reduce the power? I don't want to damage it. I hope this amp will be able to have enough power @8 ohms.

It will be easier on the amp at 8ohm bridged than it would be at 4ohm. Simple ohms law. Its not going to hurt anything. Infact the amp will run cooler and easier at that ohm load, extending life apposed to running it at its minimum independence. The amp will actually be seeing a 4ohm load across each channel. You will see about 400 watts X 1 @ 8ohm.

I got it all wired up and it sounds great! I wired it at 8 ohms bridged like you said and it seems to be the way to go. Thanks again!
