Assuming your speakers are connected, unplug head unit, meter set to low ohms, black lead to ground, turn on lights and ignition, black lead should read 0-2 ohms. If so that's the ground.
Now connect meter black lead to the black, set to 20VDC, turn off ignition and probe the other wires. One will give you approx. 12V+. That's your perm memory or 12V+ constant. Repeat with key to ACC. The next will be your acc. Repeat with lights on, that will be your illumination. Now set your meter back to low ohms readings, try matching pairs, e.g. the blues if you get 4 ohms or lower, this is a speaker pair. This will leave you 4 over, my guess, antenna or power amp switch if you have these or VSS or phone mute.

I've noticed the colours given in boxhead's post don't match the colours in pin2win's post! If pin2win still has the original plugs on his car how about a Metra/Scosche etc. interface
Got to be an easier answer. They (Ford) seem to change ALL these colours every 5 years or so, even here, why?
