I would take out the Explode from the list as well. Another brand to consider would be Kenwood. They make some really nice double din units at a fair price.

Id go with Pioneer. But im a little biased when it comes to Pioneer head units.

it really depends on what you want out of the head unit. I've been working with Pioneer and Clarion for about 12 years now and have had great success with both brands. both have direct connect steering wheel control options, satellite radio option, etc.

I have ZERO bad things to say about my pioneer DEH-P980BT very good SQ great features easy to use, fast (turn car on, 1,2, music), overall great product.
