bump to the top! trunk release is setting off the viper alarm more often now...do i need diode isolation?

the viper unit should disable trunk monitoring if trunk pop is used FROM the viper remote.

check for a settin in the function menu. i dont deal with dei stuff much so cant be spot on.

hello, i actually just found out right now that its actually the factory alarm that is set off when i trunk pop >.<

okay i guess it did not fix my problem. still have OEM alarm set off with trunk release and R/S. Not sure why R/S is setting it off because i thought it unlocks the door then R/S then locks it.

you need to hook up the factory alarm disarm wire.

this wire is in the door.
