Thanks spmdr. How far from the woofer does the tweeter need to be install?

Well alot of people recommend putting the tweeter as close to the woofer as you can ,but in my experience i postion the tweeter where the system sounds best,so my advice to you is try it in multiple positions and use your ear-o-meter thats how ive always done it.

12 to 18" away from mid for the best imaging sq.
