I am trying to install an xk01 module in my 2005 chevy cobalt. I have flashed the module to the correct firmware that is compatible with. I am supposed to hook up the violet data wire to pin 2 of the obdii connector, but there is no wire for pin 2. only pins 1 4 5 6 14 and 16 are filled. I contacted customer support about it and they just told me not to hook it up. Is there another wire i can attach it to or is this unit not usable in my cat.
thanks

Make sure your looking at the obd2 from the front for pin 2. As far as I remember if there is any purple wire in that plug that's the one.

I think you should be using XK06 for that vehicle.

I'm not installing a remote start, I was just using it for the doorlock and trunk interface since I had it.
Also, there are no violet wires in the obd connector. green, black, BLACK/ white, tan/black, tan, and RED / white are the only colors there

Is that a Class2 or a CAN data module?
