fog lights come on with parking lights

i have a 2002 acura rl currently my fog lights only come on when my headlights are on, i want to wire them so i can turn them on with just the parking lights on. how do i go about  wiring this up? do i needs diodes? extra fuse?  help thanks in advance

i know how to find the wires i just dont know how to go about wiring the fog lights to the parking lights, do i run a wire straight off the park. lights to the fog lights or do i go to a fuse? do i need a diode in between? thats my problem

Find out what the wires do coming from the fog light switch. If not data, I'm guessing the feed wire is only live when the low beam headlights are turned on, that's a UK regulation and since the rest of Europe follows, it's more than likely that's how they're wired.
all you have to do is feed this from a parking light circuit, probably fuse box sourced.
This will be low current so no problem with relays though I would insert a 3 amp diode in that feed line, if pos band towards the fog light switch.
Trouble is from your comments are you capable of doing this?

got to pick up the diode will give it a shot this weekend  let you know how it turns out

Actually the diode isn't necessary if once you find the original supply to the fog light switch you cut it back, also it occurred to me there might be a relay involved under the hood. I just looked on the web for a wiring diagramme for this vehicle, couldn't find it but suggest you have a go, if you do, send me a link please.

i was so over thinking this  all i need is a relay wire it to the parking lights and to the fog lights, and constant 12v aww man im a idiot gonna try it tommorow
