i have a jeep commander 2007 sport, factory radio no nav/ i inserted a cd disc, and it read cd err and ejected the cd, i tried a couple of cd's same problem. i havent used the cd for a few months.

It sounds like the laser pickup of your CD mechanism has failed. The usual life expectancy of some lasers are about 5 years.
