So just looked at some wiring diagrams for my car. It seems that for a manual transmission I have a neutral safety switch. Sweet!

I have most of it wired up however do i need to use a 1-6V coil input. The wordage they use is a little confusing. I tapped into my #1 fuel injector, and I am hoping that will work..?

According to the install guide, it says it will learn an indvidual coil, so a Fuel injector should be OK.  Follow the guide on page 30 for Tach Learning.  It will signal if the signal is learned.  If not locate the main coil pack ( top of engine, mounted to the intake manifold ) and find a tach signal there using a DMM.
Soldering is fun!

Looking at the Neutral Position Switch in your diagram,  while it will show that the transmission is in neutral, I believe you will still have to bypass the clutch switch, B106 Pin 1 to Pin 2, to energize the starter relay.
