I have a 1985 Cutlass Supreme, and I am having trouble with the remote start working properly. The car will crank over, but will not start. I understand that some carburator cars are tuff to start. But if I put the key in and turn it forward to the on position, the car will start with no problems when I use the remote start. What could this be? Do I have it wired wrong, I wired it to the starter wire like shown. Please let me know, thanks.

Using a volt meter verify that there is voltage on the pink wire while under an attempted remote start.
