I have a Viper 5301 remote starter and DLPKGM bypass module I'm going to install in my 2004 Chevy Avalanche. I'm studying over the instructions for both the Viper and the Xpresskit module and have a few questions:
I've been searching and searching the forum here and it seems D2D is just not reliable. I'm planning on wiring the DLPKGM W2W with the Viper starter. After hours of searching I'm still stumped on a few things connections between the DLPKGM module and the Viper starter:
LOCK ( - input) Lt.Green wire out of DLPKGM module. I assume this gets hooked to the Blue wire on Viper connector "DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK" the two wire connector with a Blue wire (- unlock/+lock) and Green wire (- lock/+ unlock)?
DOOR TRIGGER ( - output) Green wire out of the DLPKGM module. I assume this gets connected to Viper connector H1 pin 8 = Green door (-) input?
UNLOCK DRIVER 1( - input) - Blue
UNLOCK DRIVER 2( - input) - Lt.Blue
What do I do with these? My avalanche has DRIVER 1 and DRIVER 2 factory remotes. I see nothing anywhere in any of the instructions indicating who to interface the module to retain DRIVER 1 and DRIVER 2 functions?
PARKING LIGHT ( - input) - white
This is the PARKING LIGHT wire from module DLPKGM. It shows it's supposed to be connected to the Viper starter module. The only wire related to parking lights on the Viper module is H1/11. This wire connects to the truck's Parking Light - signal wire, BCM, BROWN Plug, Pin B correct? If so, where do I connect the white PARKING LIGHT wire coming out of the DLPKGM module?
The rest of the wiring for the Viper and the DLPKGM I am comfortable with. It's just the wires listed above I'm not sure of.
Any help would be appreciated thanks.

wire your park lamps direct...

don't worry about door trigger as the 5301 is not an alarm unit....

hook up your blue & green doorlock wires to the corresponding wires on the DLPKGM.... blue to blue... green to green......  don't worry about priority loocks unless you want it... in which case hook up the 5301's blue second unlock to the blue unlock wire also....

Hey kgerry thanks for taking the time to reply and help me out.
If you don't mind, would you take a minute and let me know if this looks good to you? This is what I have done so far:
Connector H3 on the Viper Module:
H3/1 PINK Ignition 1 In/OUT = to Pink wire at ignition switch
H3/2 RED / WHITE fused 30amp Ign 2 = to RED / White wire at Ign. switch
H3/3 ORANGE Accessory Output = to Orange wire at ignition switch
H3/4 VIOLET Starter Output = to to Yellow wire at ignition switch
H3/5 RED + fused 30amp Ign 1 = to Red wire at ignition switch
H3/6 PINK/WHITE Ign 2 = NOT CONNECTED
H3/7 PINK/BLACK Flex Relay Input = NOT CONNECTED
H3/8 RED / BLACK positive fused 30amp acc/start input = NOT CONNECTED
Connector H1 on Viper Module
H1/1 = RED / White Trunk Release = NOT CONNECTED
H1/2 = RED positive 12V = To constant 12 Volts
H1/3 = BROWN Horn Output = Not CONNECTED
H1/4 = WHITE/ BROWN Light Flash Isolation = NOT CONNECTED
H1/5 = BLACK Ground = To chassis ground
H1/6 = VIOLET Positive Door Trigger = NOT CONNECTED
H1/7 = BLUE negative factory horn input = NOT CONNECTED
H1/8 = GREEN negative door trigger = NOT CONNECTED
H1/9 = BLACK/ WHITE negative 200ma dome light output = NOT CONNECTED
H1/10= WHITE/ BLUE negative remote start/turbo timer=- NOT CONNECTED
H1/11 = WHITE negative trigger park lights = BCM grey/black
H1/12 = ORANGE negative 500mA ground when armed out = NOT CONNECTED
Remote Start Input, 5 wire connector
1 = BLACK/ White negative neutral safety switch = Not Sure on this one?
2 = Violet/White Tach Input = PCM, GREEN Plug Pin 10.
3 = Brown Brake Shutdown = to white wire @ pedal brake switch
4 = Gray Hood Pin Switch = Install hood pin switch, then hook up.
5 = Blue/White 200mA 2nd status/defog - NOT CONNECTED
I believe the above are all connections to be made from the Viper Module?
Connections to the DKPLGM:
Light Green LOCK - to Viper Green wire @ door lock harness - lock, + unlock
Blue UNLOCK - to Viper Blue wire @ door lock harness - + lock,
- unlock
PINK ignition - to switched ignition on vehicle
PURPLE OBD2 DATA - to data wire @ obd2 connector
VIOLET/WHITE Tach - NOT CONNECTED
If you would look this over and let me know your thoughts I would appreciate it!
Thanks again1

H3/6-pink/white needs to be hooked to IGN 2 (white)

H3/8-RED / black needs to be connected to 12V constant (red)

H1/11- make sure you set the fuse to NEG

BLACK/ white NSS wire goes to ground

Are you hooking up the DLPKGM W2W or D2D?  if W2W you will need to hook up power, ground and GWR also.....

Hey kgerry thanks again for the help. I'm working on it right now.
I am going W2W as I've heard nothing but potential issues and problems with D2D.

Yeah I have had problems with D2D also.  I was told a while back by DEI not to use it.
