Hello all,
I was thinking of becoming a dei dealer. I was wondering how many of you are dealers and what kind of advise you cam give me. I have been an installer for 8.5 years. I have been out of the game for almost 2 yrs but looking to install again and become a dealer. Like I said any advise or help would be great.
Thanks
Kris

Thanks for the input. How long have you been a dealer? Which level dealer are you? Mobile dealer or volume dealer. Being a dealer and being able to install will I also get dei support with wire colors, activating smartstarts, etc.
Thanks
Kris

Im pretty sure if you are a dealer you will have access to all of that. But im not a dealer, so im not 100% sure.

I personally use more Audiovox but I work part-time for a DEI dealer.
I believe to become direct with DEI the minimum is about $2000 per quarter in product.
If you're just getting back into the business and that's too much for you, maybe try to find a distributor until you have enough business to go direct.

You don't need to become a dealer to get that kind of support. If you find a good distributor for dei products and setup an account with them I'm pretty sure they will give you just as much support as dei would since they have access to the directed dealers information including all vehicle wiring sheets.

agree with Chris.  Find a distributor in your area, to see if you can work with them until you get your volume up.

My DEI distributor just went out of business how many of you are dei dealers? -- posted image.
I think DEI has a program that you only need to buy $350 per quarter.
However since RS is all I do - I have 2 quarters taken care of - the other two are dead.
Guess I am back to using Ultrastart for my primary brand. Not horrible but I liked the Python units.
