I need some help. I was installing an aftermarket CD player in my 2005 Ford F250 when the 12 volt ignition (red) wire touched some metal and sparked. The fuse at the the fuse panel is still good but is not getting power to it with the key on and I can't figure out why. Any help is greatly appreciated.

this is why they want you to disconnect the battery, could have been worse than a fuse or a breaker,

check the box under the hood also, or a fusible link in line of the power wire,

ac delco am radio and sparkomatic 40 watt sound exploder

Double check both fuse panels with a voltmeter and check fuses labeled radio acc, etc, also fuses that connected w cigarette lighter, dome light, etc, please check both sides of the fuse.
