ok Kreg, I got that part but you mention something about "set the Vipers Parking Light Jumper to the corresponding setting?" How can I set this up? I tried both of them and it the parking light didn't flash.
Thanks!

Did you connect H1/2 to +12v constant power?  Download the 5701 Install Guide found in the "Downloads" section of this site. ( It may not be exactly the same as you unit.  They combined two harness' together.)  On Page 55 is the info on the Parking Light jumper settings.  The 5701 install guide has alot of important information and you should become very familiar with it.

So the only problems now is that whenever I open the door while it's lock, the siren won't go off and I can't seem to get the remote start to work. I connect everything you posted for the H3 wires.
Is there anything that could be possibly wrong?
Thanks!

Plenty of things.  Did you download and read the Viper 5701 manual?

The Viper comes defaulted for Manual Transmission Mode.  You must change the programming to Automatic Trans.  Menu 3, Menu Item 1 to Option 2.

The most reliable method of remote starting the car is via TACH mode.  Connect the Vipers' Violet/White TACH wire to a tach signal source and change Menu 3, Menu Item 2 to Option 4.  Read the Viper Install guide to perform the Tach Learn process.

The  BLACK/ White Neutral Safety Wire should be connected to chassis ground or the (-) Parking Brake wire.

As for the Alarm, did you connect the Viper (-) Door Trigger, H1/8, to the car.  Should go to  All Door Trigger     BLACK/ WHITE  (-)      26 PIN PLUG in DRIVERS KICK PANEL.  You will need this connected to get into the Vipers' programming.

Soldering is fun!

Kreg, Yes I have the manual... I have connected everything that you posted in the last post. I tried to change the setting from manual transmission to automatic and there's no luck. Right now, my car isn't even starting when I put the key and set it to run....

Should we take a weekend break to Texas (all expenses paid for by the poster)? Or should I just ask which way round he connected the heavy duty green and violet.

I disconnected everything between the viper and Toyota. I reinstalled the factory alarm, seems like the alarm is going off every time I connect it. Is there a way to reset everything?

Try re-installing with the ignition turned on, then take yourself to a local installation specialist and pay to have it installed professionally.
