Also...did you hook up the keysense wire? Its possible that you need to hook it up.

Should be a BLACK/ pink wire @ ignition harness.

Ok after hooking up the key sense it will start!!! BUT it starts longer than it needs to ( a little bit of starter grind ) and after it starts it will shut right back off after a few seconds of running. How does the remote start know when the vehicle is running?
It seem to me after the vehicle starts, the remote start doesn't recognize it running so it kills it and retries.

now its running isnt there a tach learn procedure to do with the vehicle by manually starting and learning it to the system to give it a reference point before remote starting?

I was wondering if there was something like that but there is nothing mentioning it in the manual that I could find.

i found a manual online to read through and i see what you mean, not completely descriptive about anything to do with tach learn. im guessing you would probably have to mess around with different sensors to see which it responds to best in seeing the engine running.

What different sensors? The only sensor is the tach wire which the manual states it defaulted to an oil sensor.
