The problem occurs on many Chrysler products and it's because of a delay from the horn relay. The real only way to cure it is to add a relay and go directly to the horn with a positive pulse. Do it like you have the relay above but put 87 to 12volts and pin 30 directly to the horn(not just the horn wire in the truck).

Hey thanks mike. Any idea when I can accessthe positive wire that goes to the horn on this truck thanks.

You can get it at the horn relay in the box under the hood but prefer just going directly to the horn itself....

Ok thanks, sorry for all the questions. Any idea where the horn is located? And best way to get at it? Any idea of the wire color im looking for? Or best to probe with multi meter anyways.

Only one wire on a horn, honk it and find out where it is(It's always in the grill)....intermittent horn - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.
