Can any one tell me how to get the blue cap off a viper LED alarm light so you can just mount the small LED glass pin head? I dont want to mount that big blue tip And what do you use to hold it in glue? I have seen it in cars just dont know how to do it.

Thanks!!

There is a small plastic holder piece in between the wires of the LED.  Use a sharp straight pick and remove the holder piece.  With that piece out the LED will pull out.

I prefer to use a 7/64" bit and press fit the LED in with no glue or adhesive.  You have to be careful though not to make it too tight, as I have seen them not work if the fit is extremely snug.

Oh, and the LED is plastic, not glass!
